Program At-A-Glance

The Black & Indigenous Women’s Identities, Spirits, and Spiritualities certification is a 12-week immersive program for women ready to reconnect with ancestral wisdom and healing traditions. Meeting live each week, the program integrates scholarship, ritual, storytelling, and community dialogue to honor the legacies of our foremothers while addressing the realities of intergenerational trauma. Participants engage in guided readings, reflective practices, and group discussion, with access to a private discussion board and supplemental resources for continued integration. The certification supports both personal growth and professional development, helping participants deepen healing-centered knowledge, strengthen spiritual resilience, and reclaim the authority of their voices, bodies, and spirits.

What You'll Learn

  • How to remember and honor ancestral lineages as a source of wisdom and healing

  • Tools for recognizing and healing intergenerational trauma carried in the body, mind, and spirit

  • Ways to reclaim Indigenous and African-centered spiritual practices for daily life and community work

  • Practices to restore balance, joy, and embodied wholeness in the face of systemic oppression

  • How to cultivate community, sisterhood, and shared accountability through collective learning and ritual

  • Pathways for applying these teachings in your personal journey, professional practice, or community leadership

Course curriculum

Each class blends lecture, discussion, and reflective practice to create an engaging and supportive learning environment. All sessions are recorded and shared so participants can revisit the material or catch up if they’re unable to attend live. In addition, Friday online discussion boards provide space for deeper dialogue, peer connection, and reflection between sessions. Live classes begin Wednesday 3/18 at 6pm CST.

Course was breathtaking...

Raquel

I'm so grateful for all the teachings in this course. It brings me so much joy to be able to make connections from stories told by my grandmother about the Sibyls & Amazonian women. So much confirmation of women empowered and where it comes from HERstorically. Thank you for the correct image of hierarchy. I've passed it on to my children. This course was breath taking.

Big Mama and God is a Black woman!!!!

Goddess K

This course was exactly what I needed to advance fully into my journey of who I am. It helped me to understand completely who I am spiritually and my lineage. It helped as a container so that I can stay grounded in my knowledge and unveiling and to heed the call of big Mama and God is a black woman!!!! Thank you so much

Learning the "how" and "why rituals were demonized helped me shift

Keshia

Last week was particularly game changing for me. I was able to release the stigma around how how we honor our culture through rituals and alters. Learning the "how" and "why it was demonized helped me shift into what I need know to move forward. And learning the history of the sacred feminine and exactly what makes it so very sacred . Then taking it a step further and "seeing" it in myself - that is not separate from me.

This course was exactly what I needed to advance fully into my journey of who I am
